Riverview are delighted to working with a European leader in financial services to find a permanent Corporate Social Responsibility Manager.

They are part of the global line of business which is present in 35 countries. They provides vendor and equipment finance to the full breadth of the business sector. Their UK’s office is based in Richmond-Upon-Thames and from here they provide vendor and equipment finance in the Technology, Transport, Construction, Industrial, Medical, Public Sector and Agriculture markets.

The ideal candidate will give strong direction and purpose to our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda. They will create and develop existing strategies that promote sustainable values, ethics and governance across our business. The two main parts of this role are managing both our internal CSR initiatives to ensure maximum employee engagement, alongside the Environment and Social Governance (ESG) commitment and business priority.

Key Responsibilities:

Environmental & Social Governance (ESG)

·Responsible for executing the ESG plan roadmap and deliverables

·Make sure to coordinate and align the multiple divisions by design implementation with committed local ESG action plan

·Coordinate the various priorities set or action to be performed with the main stakeholders in the UK to achieve the above

·Be the main point of contact with the regulator and different leasing association on ESG topics

·Prepare ad hoc regular communication and reporting for the internal and external Boards and Committees

·Report regularly to the CEOs ad hoc steering Committee on status of the various action plan

·Be the link with other ESG projects within wider initiatives

Internal CSR

·Continue the CSR Vision which aligns all of the divisions

·Support the business priority for diversity and inclusion in order to deliver the Vision with clear milestones and KPIs

·Direct and animate the committees to help achieve the business goals

·Represent on all CSR subjects both internally within and externally with CSR partner organisations

·To recognise and reward individuals and teams for their CSR contribution and create a sense of shared pride in our collective accomplishments,

·Co-ordinate fund raising activity in support of the organisations chosen charities

·Promote active participation in volunteering opportunities

·Raise UK employees’ awareness of climate change and promote activities in support of all environmental initiatives to help address climate change

·Manage reporting for collating and reporting on key impact data for the office to highlight the impact on the local community

·Support HR with the DEI strategy

Skills, Competencies & Personal Qualities:

-Previous CSR and ESG experience within a corporate environment essential

-Project Management Skills

-Change Management Experience

- Experience managing carbon footprint and creating suitable initiatives

-Strong and communicative presentation style

-A self-starter, able to remain effective whilst working under pressure

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively with key stakeholders

-Competent in balancing strategic direction with being transactional and delivering

-Effective communications skills

-Excellent organisational and project skills

-Ability to gather data; analyse and present

-Influencing skills to gain support by persuading and convincing others at all levels of the organisation

This is a hybrid role where you will be required in the West London offices three times a week. On offer is a generous salary of £55,000 - £65,000 and an excellent benefits package.
