Riverview recruitment is delighted to be working with Royal Free London (RFL) Property Services to appoint a Project Manager (PM) for their capital projects and external commission teams. This is an exciting time for the capital projects team with an extensive 10-yr capital plan, some of the work includes new builds of hybrid theatres, doubling the size of treatment suites within Endoscopy, a multiphase scheme at Barnet to reconfigure the emergency and urgent care provisions and continuing the renowned imaging replacement schemes.

RFL Property Services (RFLPS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Free London Group and the organisations formation it has embarked on a journey of transformational change in the way estate services are delivered within the NHS.

As a PM for the capital projects and external commission team, you will support the senior management team in projects of redevelopment and regeneration across the Royal Free London group and to external customers within Hertfordshire, East Anglia, and Central London.

Key responsibilities for this role will include advising and supporting the Project/Programme Director, Senior Project Manager, Project Sponsors, Project Board, and senior clinicians and to take predominant responsibility for the coordination, management, and delivery of RFLPS Capital projects to ensure objectives are achieved in terms of specific performance, time, cost, and quality.

This role’s key function is to support and advise within the Capital Projects team in the delivery of capital projects in line with agreed project, RFLPS governing objectives to achieve long term best value for the benefit of patients, staff and clinical service delivery.

You will be a qualified construction professional (RIBA, RICS or similar) with demonstrable post qualification experience for the specific role; demonstrate a thorough understanding of development and project delivery in the health sector or similar complex environment.

This role would suit an individual who thrives in a complex environment and has excellent verbal and written communication to engage and motivate stakeholders to deliver an extensive and vital scheme. Be of analytical mind to produce coherent, comprehensive, and concise information that can aid organising workloads and managing outcomes to meet planned objectives.
