Riverview Recruitment are delighted to partner with RFL Property Services to find a Senior Development Surveyor for their strategic development team.
RFLPS was set up in 2018 as a wholly owned, subsidiary of Royal Free Group formed with the freedom to act commercially ‘beyond the walls’ of the Royal Free across a broader geographic area. They deliver a high-quality consistent service, delivering efficiencies for customers by operating at scale, providing resilience to operational capability but above all providing environments that inspire confidence, are accessible and designed around efficient patient pathways to support high quality healthcare.
RFLPS provide a range of property services to the Royal Free London NHS trust and is also starting to expand its client base, providing services to other trusts, such as West Hertfordshire NHS Trust.
In this role as Senior Development Surveyor, you would play a key role in developing and implementing a masterplan for one of our largest and complex hospital sites.
RFL PS have plans to optimise the estate through a programme of master planning and delivery. The timing of this opportunity will allow the Senior Development Surveyor to be a key person to decide on how to maximise and optimise the current assets to provide the best possible environment for patients, staff taking care of those patients and the wider stakeholders in the community.
The Senior Development Surveyor is effectively a specialist/informed client who provides advice on a broad range of development and transaction related matters. The Senior Development Surveyor will support the Strategic Development Manager to deliver a wide range of development projects across the Trust’s sites with a focus on the Royal Free Hospital, but also on other sites where necessary.
We are looking for a Senior Development Surveyor with a consultative approach to join our property team at a time of real transformation and growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a team driving investment returns and improving the environment of our estate for the benefit of patients and staff.
You will be required to provide option analysis, clear concise reports, and set out clear objectives to achieve the Trusts ambitions for outstanding development within the RFL Group and beyond.
You will also need to be resilient and tenacious and recognise that as a public body, the trust will need to demonstrate due process through various layers of governance and the ability to demonstrate value for money from its assets.
