A national FM provider requires a Senior Project Manager with a mechanical bias to support their PFI health contract.

The role will be primarily responsible for the project management team in planning maintenance corrective works on-site in a well organised and professional manner using Microsoft Project software; providing regular weekly reports and administration of evidence/documentation to prove closure of the works.

Key accountabilities

• Provide a weekly summary progress update to key individuals/stakeholders.
• Provide status reports regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
• Act as an internal quality control check for the project and manage on-going quality control and participate in quality issue resolution.

This role requires an individual with excellent verbal and written communication and someone that is able to communicate at all levels. It is important the successful candidate has previous experience working on mechanical upgrade project work and desirable within a health environment.

The right person would have excellent problem solving skills, able to demonstrate collaborative working and ability to adapt to change. This is an immediate requirement to support on-going projects ranging from £30k-800k.

Key skills: Mechanical qualification degree level or equivalent, health sector experience
